Government consultations on draft Regulations

The Localism Bill left various procedural and technical requirements of the neighbourhood planning system to regulations. Draft regulations published on 13 October 2011 for consultation set out how a neighbourhood area will be defined, how to set up forums that will propose plans and also outlines the requirements for establishing a Neighbourhood Development Order. The closing date for comments on the proposed regulations is 5 January 2012.
