Events & Activities What's On/Events Bourn Windmill Open Day - National Mills Weekend Sunday 14 May, 11am-4.30pm Following renovation to save the mill, it will be opened for the first time since 2020 and guides will show you how the mill works and tell you the history of this fascinating building. Not only can you see inside, you can also have a go at the incredible task of turning the whole mill on its post - an amazing experience. The mill is one of the oldest in the UK and is owned by local charity CambridgePPF and run by dedicated volunteers. Tea and cakes available to purchase. Members free, non-members £3 adult, £1 per child. As a charity we want to say a big thank you to lottery players who have supported the recent restoration works so are offering free entry to National Lottery Players at the first three open days after the mill has re-opened - please bring a National lottery ticket or scratch card.
