Tues 1 February, 10.30am-1pm. Wandlebury Country Park

Volunteer work party.

Help the planet by planting trees. We are planting a new woodland to create new wildlife habitat, reduce air pollution and store carbon. This is part of our efforts to expand the park and create a Cambridge Nature Network.

We will provide tools, instructions and trees. However if you have your own spade then please bring it with you as we may not have enough for everyone.

Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and we recommend wearing boots or wellies.

Bring a drink/snack to keep you going.

No need to book, just turn up.

All welcome including under 18s if accompanied.

Meet at the noticeboard in the car park at 10.30am. We will then walk to the planting area and give instructions to everyone.

This project is part of the Cambridge Nature Network and is being supported by government funding from the Green Recovery Fund and Natural England's Nature Recovery Project.
