The current mill building at Hinxton dates from the 17th century and was saved from demolition and restored in the 1980s. But now the weatherboarding, windows and other exterior areas of the building are exposed and starting to rot. We need to replace the damage and repaint the mill in order to protect the building for future generations to enjoy.

The Mill is cared for by volunteers working with CambridgePPF. These volunteers kindly operate the Mill on open days during the summer.

We've had fantastic support for our appeal from local businesses, visitors and supporters who have taken part in our fundraising raffle, a number of friends in the village, including the Village Hall Committee and their helpers, who held a tea during the summer season.

With just a bit more help we will reach our target now. Click on the video link above to find out more (with thanks to ITV Anglia News) and please donate what you can manage here.
