Join this volunteer work party to help us care for the reserve and its wildlife. Learn the ancient, rural practice of hedgelaying, by partially cutting through stems, laying and weaving them together to produce a thick living barrier and wildlife ‘corridor’.
Wear warm, waterproof clothing and tough shoes, and bring a packed lunch and drink. All instruction, equipment and tools provided.
This is a free event, no need to book – just turn up on the day. Meet at Coton Reserve notice board near the car park.
Please help if you can!
Donations are also always appreciated.
