By now we have all heard of open air cinema, but this event brings alfresco screenings to the public in superb style. Set in the hub of Wandlebury, The Star & Mouse Picture Show is hosting a pop-up cinema that promises to be very magical indeed.
Arrive at Wandlebury Country Park, take a stroll through the pathways, make your way to The Star & Mouse entertainment circle where you will find a warm welcome of live music, hot street food, a bar and the perfect setting to watch an outdoor movie. Sounds good right?
For the hungry there’ll be plenty to choose from on the menu, for the thirsty – an outdoor bar and for those of you seeking warmth we have hot water bottles for hire. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better; they’ll be some live music to enjoy before the film begins.
Friday 14th September – Screen 1: Thor: Ragnakor / Screen 2: Deadpool – Food: Pizza Passione

What time should I get there?
It’s best to arrive earlier than the film start time. It is recommended that you get to Wandlebury for around 6pm. This way you can secure your seat. Have something to eat, get a drink from the bar and enjoy the pre-film entertainment.
What time does the film start?
The film will start when it gets dark. Obviously this time varies each day, but it will be approximately 7.45pm
What food will there be?
There will be hot food and drinks served before the film begins. There will be something suitable for vegans , vegetarians and meat eaters. If you have any allergies please contact Star & Mouse via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make further arrangements to accommodate your requirements. Costs of food range from £6 – £9 with snacks costing £2 – £3
Can I bring a picnic?
Picnics are not permitted.
Can I pay by card?
At most Star & Mouse Events card payment can be taken. However, it is advisable to bring cash too – as this is a pop-up cinema the card reader relies on having good signal and this can’t always be guaranteed.
What should I wear?
It is advisable to dress warmly (even on a hot day) and take with you additional layers and a blanket. When the sun goes down it can get a bit chilly – which of course adds to the atmosphere if you are cosy and warm.
Do I have to bring a chair?
Seating is provided.
Where do I park?
On site parking is available.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of poor weather conditions The Star & Mouse will attempt to continue with their screening. It is important that the public dress accordingly and bring waterproofs and umbrellas. Rain ponchos are not given out due to them being bad for the environment.
Can I get a refund?
If the event goes ahead refunds are not given out to the public. If the event is cancelled and does not go ahead, refunds are immediately given back to ticket holders.
