Cambridge Past, Present & Future are delighted to announce that the UK’s oldest windmill has been officially reopened following three years of restoration work to save it from collapse.

Thanks to generous public support and funding awards from National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic England, The Pilgrim Trust, SPAB Mills section, local parish councils and members of the public, the mill has been saved for future generations to enjoy and learn about.

If you would like to see the mill for yourself and have a go at turning it, visitors can come along to this year’s first open days on National Mills Weekend on 13 & 14 May 2023 and then once a month throughout the summer
