Help us showcase the beautiful flowers, trees and wildlife of Wandlebury Country Park and Coton Countryside Reserve.

We are a local charity that cares about Cambridge and its green landscape. We own and care for Wandlebury Country Park, Cambridge Leper Chapel, Bourn Windmill, Hinxton Watermill and Coton Countryside Reserve. We runs a busy education programme for schools and groups of all ages. We work hard to influence local planning and development.

Covid- 19 has impacted our members and visitors enjoyment of the special places we care for. We need help in filming and editing video content to enable us to share the seasonal changes of our sites. So those who are unable to visit our places can still enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from the safety of their homes.

Our events have been cancelled for the foreseeable but our hard-working wardens are still eager to share their knowledge of the fauna and flora found across the local environments and rare habitats we care for.

We are looking for volunteers who can

  • Have access to a computer and video editing software at home.
  • Edit footage on video editing software.
  • Make ad hoc visits (if possible) to film footage at Wandlebury Country Park or Coton Countryside Reserve.
  • Be able to work to a deadline to make sure we can meet the goals in our communications plan.

We have already published some video content which highlights the spring wild flowers and grasses found at Wandlebury. You can find these videos here.
