About the opportunity

We are a local civic and environmental charity that cares about Cambridge and its green landscape. We own and care for Wandlebury Country Park, Cambridge Leper Chapel, Bourn Windmill, Hinxton Watermill and Coton Countryside Reserve. We runs a busy education programme for schools and groups of all ages. We work hard to influence local planning and development.

We were founded in 1928, formerly the Cambridge Preservation Society. Our office is based at Wandlebury Country Park on the south of Cambridge but we operate throughout Cambridge City and South Cambridge District.

  • Laying out our e-newsletter
  • Carrying out research and collecting information
  • Taking bookings for events
  • Distributing leaflets/posters locally (away from office)
  • Answering phones
  • Preparing for events (eg sending out invitations)
  • Creating posters/leaflets
