Schools & Groups

Based from our Outdoor Education Centre at Wandlebury Country Park, near Cambridge, we provide fun-filled educational experiences for 3,000 children a year, from pre-school to sixth form.

Led by our team of enthusiastic and experienced field teachers, the emphasis is on practical, hands-on investigations and open air activities. We offer science/nature, orienteering, Iron-Age experience, geography and art.

Programmes are linked to the National Curriculum and all our activities are risk assessed. We hold the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. We also offer/adapt our programme for youth groups.

In 2019 visiting teachers scored:

  • Our teaching: 9.5 out of 10
  • Student learning: 9.4 out of 10
  • Student experience: 9.5 out of 10

100% of teachers said they would recommend us to others and would come back again.

Find out more below or click here to download our education leaflet.

COVID-19 UPDATE. We are not currently providing educational day trips but we are taking bookings from schools for 17 May 2021 onwards. Our activities take place outdoors in a large park, where social distancing is possible. We have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment for our activities and where necessary we are able to adjust some of the activities we offer. Please contact us for more details.
