Schools & Groups

Based from our Outdoor Education Centre at Wandlebury Country Park, near Cambridge, we provide fun-filled educational experiences for over 1,100 children a year, from pre-school to key stage 1 & 2.

Led by our team of enthusiastic and experienced field teachers, the emphasis is on practical, hands-on investigations and open air activities. We offer science/nature & Iron-Age experience. We can also arrange Bushcraft.

Programmes are linked to the National Curriculum and all our activities are risk assessed. We hold the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. We also offer/adapt our programme for youth groups.

In 2022 visiting teachers scored:

  • Our teaching: 9.7 out of 10
  • Student learning: 9.6 out of 10
  • Student experience: 9.7 out of 10

98% of teachers said they would recommend us to others and would come back again. Comments included: 'It was all fabulous - I think we should make this a regular trip!', 'favourite trip of the year', 'staff are very knowledgeable'. 'excellent group sizes', & 'lovely new pond'.
