Be among the first people to sponsor a tree that is special to you with a brand new tree plaque to commemorate a special event and support our work!  These are an ideal ecological present for a special someone, a gift in memory of a loved one or a present for friends and family to mark a marriage, significant birthday, anniversary or birth of a child.

Wendy Reynolds and her family celebrated with our lovely warden Hannah, as they installed their plaque under the Cedar of Lebanon. Wendy’s parents met when they worked for the Gray family at Gog Magog House. Here is a wonderful photo of them from the 1930’s in front of the same tree.

The new tree plaques are available throughout the parks at Coton and Wandlebury, although not every tree is included in the scheme, and the cost is £595, which goes towards onsite conservation and managing the woodlands. There are some beautiful and unusual specimens such as european sweet chestnut, yews, copper beech, holme oak, acacia, cut-leaf beech, and black walnut.
