Help raise funds to protect and improve Cambridge's green spaces and historic buildings.

We are a local charity that cares about Cambridge and its green landscape. We own and care for Wandlebury Country Park, Cambridge Leper Chapel, Bourn Windmill, Hinxton Watermill and Coton Countryside Reserve. We runs a busy education programme for schools and groups of all ages. We work hard to influence local planning and development.

Each year we need to raise money to care for and maintain the green spaces and historic buildings in our care - this costs over £10,000 per month.

We also carry out specific improvement projects which we also need to raise funds for. For example we would like to raise funds to purchase a mobility scooter for use at Wandlebury, build a toilet and kitchenette for the Leper Chapel and create a new wetland at Coton Countryside Reserve.

We are looking for volunteers to carry out fundraising, such as:

  • Taking part in an event and asking friends and family to sponsor you to raise funds. For example a walk, run, cycle, swim, lose weight or jump out of a plane.
  • Organising a fundraising event - a coffee morning, dinner, talk, walk, fun-run, golf day, quiz night, bingo, etc.
  • Selling your skills or stuff - wash cars, cut lawns, teach a skill, garden sale, etc.
  • Attending public fairs and events on our behalf or talking to visitors to our sites.

We can offer you support and advice, including your own fundraising page on our website.
